Moore number one in West Asia Super League for round 19

American Point guard Charlie Moore (183-PG-1998) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Al Kuwait SC, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 27-year old player got a double-double of 32 points and 10 assists, while his team crushed Al Sharjah (#4, 2-4) with 25-point margin 111-86. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Kuwait maintains the 2nd position in West Asia Super League . They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Kuwait will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. In the team's last game Moore had a remarkable 77.8% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Kuwait's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Miami star has very solid stats this year. Moore is in league's top in points (8th best: 23.7ppg), assists (5th best: 9.0apg) and averages impressive 58.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Glenn Robinson III (198-F-1994) of Al Sharjah. Robinson III had a very good evening with 34 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Bad luck as Al Sharjah lost that game 86-111 to slightly higher-ranked Kuwait (#2, 4-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Al Sharjah still maintains its place in the top 4 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-4 record. Robinson III is a newcomer at Al Sharjah, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.8ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 7.0rpg and 3.8apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Kuwait's star - French center Joffrey Lauvergne (211-C-1991). Lauvergne scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). He was another key player of Al Kuwait SC, helping his team with a 111-86 easy win against #4 ranked Al Sharjah. Kuwait needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 2 lost games. Lauvergne has a great season in West Asia Super League. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 12.2rpg (3rd best).
